Accountability Check In

"Don't go changin', to try to please me…."

Even the cells in my body have changed….

Sexy Cool Product

Ah, Summer!

It seems that the heat of summer fries our brains. So exactly how do we stay on task during the summer months when all we really want to do is spend time at the beach, by the pool, or playing outside? That's one of the hardest questions to answer for a business owner. I invite you to read the articles in this eZine and then email me with your thoughts!

Have a magnificent July!

Accountability Check-in:

How are you doing on those goals you set at the beginning of the year?

Now is the time to check in on those written goals. Don't wait until December to review how you've done. If you need some assistance in sticking to your plan, that's what we do. Send us an email, we'll support you in getting it done.

"Don't go changin', to try to please me…."

Change is ever present in our lives and in our businesses. If we don't change, we die. Where is the manual for running a business and why can't someone just give us all the answers? What kind of change do we need to make in our businesses to keep growing?

First, let's start with the Mission and Vision. What is your Mission and Vision? Have you written it down? Can you see them daily?

Your Mission and VisionTip: Write down the Mission and Vision for the business. Type it on paper and put it in a frame on the desk or on the wall in front of the desk so it can be seen every day.

The Mission is the life-blood and passion of the business. The Vision is the BHAG (Big Hairy Audacious Goal) that we set that is just outside our reach right now. Neither of these are going to change very much, if at all! Our Mission and Vision are the handbook we use to keep our company going and growing.

So what kind of change do we need to keep growing?

In a word: Strategic.

The strategies that we employ to make our Vision(s) come to fruition are where most of the change in the business occurs. Building off the Vision, what do we need to do to get there? (By the way, this is called the business plan.) Let's now add in a variety of outside influences like:

The Local Economy: Anyone buying our widget here in town? Did rent go up?
Our Family life: Does little Bobby need braces?
Our Knowledge: Do we know how to set-up an online shopping cart?
Our Competition: Is Smith & Co making more sales to our not-so-loyal clients?

Taking into account the outside influences, what strategic changes in our original course do we need to make to bring the Vision to reality?

Maybe:

  • Creating an online store so our widgets are sold nationwide.
  • Looking at monthly numbers and changing budgeted spending plans
  • Taking classes to learn new skills
  • Talking with collaborators about joint ventures

Change is personal. As the business owner, only you can decide what the right change is for you in your life and business. And your rate of change is not going to be the same as others, which is a very good thing.

Even the cells in my body have changed….

The last two months have been full of change for me. And July is a significant "change" month for me for many reasons, not the least of which is the conception and birth of Room to Breathe in July 2002.

At the end of May, I had the blessing to attend T. Harv Eker's Millionaire Mind Intensive training event in San Francisco.  With 1300 other humans, I actively pursued change in my soul at a cellular level. One of the most important take-away mantras I gained was:

"You can have all the knowledge and skills in the world, but if your "blueprint" isn't set for success, you're financially doomed." --T. Harv Eker

Peak PotentialsI want to take this opportunity to introduce you to T. Harv Eker. He is a bestselling author and one of the world's top trainers. His newest book, Secrets of the Millionaire Mind™, is a publishing phenomenon, reaching #1 on the NY Times, Wall Street Journal and USA Today bestseller lists in its first week out! In the book, Harv reveals 17 specific ways that RICH people think and act differently from POOR and MIDDLE-CLASS people.

The book is a brilliant yet quick read. I recently attended an event hosted by Harv's company, Peak Potentials Training, and I now finally have the tools to be successful in ALL aspects of my life, especially in the financial arena!

Since attending the seminar, I have been given access to a recording of a TeleSeminar he hosted where he describes his foolproof methods for financial success. I'm sending you the link because the seminar really worked for me and I'd like to see you benefit too...

Simply put, Harv teaches people how to master the "inner game" of wealth in order to create outward success.

Harv seems to have a personal mission to help people realize their full potential by applying the principles he struggled to learn the hard way. These principles got him from broke to millionaire in only two and-a-half years, so I figure if he can do it, so can I. If you can grasp even a few of the principles of success he outlines, you too, can achieve financial freedom.
One of the things I learned from the seminar was that the most powerful truths are simple and indestructible; you can use them to create a foundation upon which to build your own "rich life," no matter how much or how little success you have experienced up until now. And a "rich life" is about more than just money...

You can transform your life from the inside out...
